💬 WhatsApp Backup Guide

Open your phone File Manager app and go to this folder:

/storage/emulated/0/WhatsApp/

This folder contains all your WhatsApp data.

Inside you will find these important folders:
Media — all photos, videos, voice notes, documents
Backups — full encrypted backup files

Open your phone browser and go to:

http://192.168.178.34:3000

Use the Upload Zone below to upload your WhatsApp files. You can select multiple files at once. Photos, videos and documents are all supported.

For automatic daily sync, install FolderSync app from Google Play and point it to your WhatsApp folder and your server IP.

Open WhatsApp on your iPhone and go to a chat you want to backup.

Tap the contact name or group name at the top of the chat.

Scroll down and tap Export Chat. Choose With Media to include photos and videos.

A share sheet appears. Tap Save to Files to save the export to your iPhone.

Open Safari on your iPhone and go to:

http://192.168.178.34:3000

Connect your phone to the server with a USB cable. On Android select File Transfer mode.

Open a terminal on your server and run:

cp -r /media/YOUR_PHONE/WhatsApp/Media ~/jurma-cloud/uploads/

Or use the upload zone below to drag and drop files directly from your computer if you already copied them there.

Tip: Your server is also accessible from anywhere in the world via Tailscale at:

http://100.117.86.28:3000
